We are a family of six people - two adults and four kids born between 2017 and 2023.
If anyone is interested in helping us out in every day life with regard to taking care of the kids and the household, feel free to contact us. If you enjoy cooking healthy meals, that would also be an option. I think about two hours of work per day would be fair in exchange for bed and food - that is 14 hours per full week that you are here and flexible whether you want to do more hours one day and fewer or none the next. Your jobs in this scenario would be some general cleaning (we never get on top of things here), cooking or other maintenance jobs and/or playing with the kids for a bit. We speak English with the kids by the way, so they grow up bilingual. Travellers with kids are also welcome - especially our 7 year old daughter and 8 year old son enjoy the chance to play with other kids (so it would be great if your kid/s spoke English or German).
We live in Sudheim, a village near Northeim, which is close to Göttingen in lower Saxony, Germany. You can get here by train and bus and we have a beautiful countryside for walking/hiking. If you come by car, it is not far to the Harz mountains and the Solling.

You can get here by bus which runs hourly on weekdays. However, buses stop running around 7 or 8 pm, so a bit tricky if you're planning on spending your nights partying. We're rather the early to bed, early to rise types...
Single parents with kids also welcome (just not enough room for more guests).

There is a good wifi connection in the guest bedroom.

No problem to park in our driveway with a van sized vehicle (proper motorhome would be too big).

I felt really accepted from the very first seconds. Their four children, Niki, Leona, Josie and Emy treated me like a brother. I really enjoyed playing lots of great board games with the whole family. (Especially our chess games with Niki and Tobias).
