Descripción
We live in a very little village 10 minutes away from the lake "Balaton". The village is surrounded by forests and green spaces. We are a big family with six children ( the first three ones are already very independent(17-15-13), the other ones are: 7-5-2. The husband is running a bio/selfmade - goat - cheese - business, so there is a lot of work with the farm too. Our new member of the family is donkey "Mikulas". If you love nature and want to recover yourself from the noise of the city, you will spent a lovely time with us.
In our experience hosting volunteers for 2-3 weeks works the best for us - after that we usually need some time of our own.

You have your own room and bathroom for yourself in the house of my parents which is two houses next to ours. They rent rooms so they always have a free one.

There is always the possibility to borrow a car and go to see the nearer villlages. In the summer we go very often (if the weather allows it) to the Balaton for swimming and spend a good time on the beach.

We had a fun time with Manuela. We laughed and worked a lot. It didn't matter for her whether she was working alone or with us, doing workshop for our children or coming with us to family programs: she was always cheerful and open minded. A very good workawayer!

Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy Feon's company more than a week, but we are very grateful for these days. Jamie and David is a very nice couple. Coming from the sonny California they worked heroicly outside in the cold hungarian winter. They befriended our children surprisingly fast which was really extra help and joy for us.

Balint and Anna were fantastic hosts. It was simply such an enjoyable experience spending time with their family. We mainly worked on the beginning stages of replanting a vineyard, but also helped in the house when raining. I had a wonderful time with this family. Balint and Anna are very helpful & accomodating. Their kids are adorable and extremely friendly. I stayed with them for 10 days and enjoyed the peaceful life in Obudavar. The place is breathtaking.

I felt very happy with Balint, Anna and his family during ten days that i spent with them, working with the wood, helping them to spent a better winter. It was very funny to cook mexican food for the whole family. They are very organized in order to give you the best, the room also is very confortable. I recomend them very much. Thanks!

Rotem and Asaf are a truly exciting, nice, friendly couple. They mastered everything smartly and with ease: cheese making, preparing wood, cleaning the house, etc etc. We had good conversations and we laughed a lot.
