    Hello, nice to meet you.
I am a man in my early 50s, living alone. For about 20 years I have worked as an eco-house builder, and I was also a teacher at an alternative school. The house I live in now was built by myself.

In my house, I applied appropriate technology such as a solar dryer, a solar heater, and the traditional Korean heating system called Ondol.
And I am growing fruit trees and practicing permaculture.

I have also been a Kouksundo (KSD) instructor for over 20 years.
KSD is a traditional Korean mind-body training that includes stretching, breathing, meditation, martial arts, and more. The aim is to grow as a holistic human being.
I've been operating a KSD training center in Daegu, a large city near my home, since March of this year.

Monday to Thursday: I stay in Daegu and lead three KSD training sessions each day.
→ If you are interested, you can join my sessions for free.
→ Daegu is a big city, so you can also enjoy many cultural activities.
Friday to Sunday: I return to my home in Hapcheon, where I work on building projects or do some farming.

You can join my Kouksundo sessions for free.
I can share my experience in house building, appropriate technology, and permaculture.
I can also show you how to cook simple Korean food.

Most of the time, I share meals with volunteers.
If you like, we can go to a nearby market to choose ingredients together, cook at home, or eat at a local restaurant.

You can also experience daily life in both the city (Daegu) and the countryside (Hapcheon), and learn more about Korean culture.
We can exchange language and ideas through conversations as well.

When I'm at the Daegu KSD Center, I need help with cleaning and cooking.

When I'm in Hapcheon, the work varies depending on the season and current projects, such as harvesting fruit, weeding, gardening, and building projects.

These days, I need help with building a stone wall and planting trees.
