I spent almost three weeks in San Bovo. The experience and knowledge that Micael has to share are amazing. I learned a lot from him, I had the opportunity to ride and receive lessons from Micael, improving my set-up in the saddle.
In general as an experience I really enjoyed all the people around the rench are fantastic and make you feel at home.

I loved my time with this amazing family, their lovely friends and, of course, all of the animals! My only regret is not listening to the advice in the previous reviews not to book your flight home in advance. I stayed for only a month and wish it could have been much longer. It seems that I didn't leave feedback last summer after I was there. Maybe it was because I just couldn't say enough good things! I was only going to stay there for a month, but it turned out to be three. Three absolutely perfect fun and exciting months where we had so much fun! We played with all the lovely animals, did horseback riding outdoor
… read more and indoor, went out every saturday night to party. And most of all, had so many good experiences together with this amazing family, who we became very close friends too. The scenery is absolutely stunning and you will find some kind of peace when you get used to waking up in the mountains surrounded by vineyards. Every day was a new experience even tough the work is the same - You clean out the manure in the boxes, but its very easy. We did something new every day, maybe we had a lesson on horseback or helped some new tourists and so on. I've learned so much in the three months I spend here, the family's biggest passion is horses and they are willing to teach you everything! For me, who always has had an interest in horses, was it a dream who came true to be surrounded by horses, nature and dedicated people. The family are the most openminded, warm and giving family and I enjoyed every minute in their company. I would recommend it to everyone, who wants to feel part of a real farmer life, get more knowledge and experienced with horses, wanna be in the nature and do real physical work. … read more couple of hours to finish, so we had the entire afternoon and evening to do whatever we wanted to - could be reading, napping, cooking, going for walks, and of course riding! There was a lot of opportunities to join the trail rides with tourists, but we also got the chance to work more intense with the horses inside in the rectangle. I really learned a lot, and Michael and Lisa and all the other ones are seriously skilled when it comes to horseback riding (and working with horses in general)!!
Besides from all that, the people were some of the nicest people I've ever met! They treated us so well, and we quickly felt like a part of their great family. They took us to nightclubs, restaurants, meeting their friends and family and even to a big horse fair in Verona!
All in all, this was such an amazing experience, I couldn't have dreamt of an experience better than this! I'm definitely coming back!
So if you love animals, having fun and great people GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

… read more with the horses, learning a lot about ground work, enjoying the stunning scenery, sleeping under the stars, having late night dinners in the alley at the stable and most of all being around this lovely family.
They make you feel like being part of the big horse family right from the first day.

Great loving family with a lot of hard work and love for the horses. Michael was open and sweet to evrybody.funny and friendly! Also sarah lisa and lucas are hard workers and so friendly... If you want a good place to go to with beautifull sights horses and people (and off course great food and wine) go here!

To sum my experience up in one word... Amazing!
I planned to stay for two weeks and ended up living in San Bovo for three months. In that time I fell in love with the place, the people and of course the horses.
Thank you for such a great experience and I hope to see you all again as soon as I can come back to Europe.

It is almost impossible to describe my experience shortly... But I have had the time of my life. I stayed for 3 months in the summer of 2011 and I made such good friends, and this year I will go back because I miss them so much.
