Descripción
We’re Sam (29) and Louis (36), a working couple passionate about animal rights, nature and slow living. We live on a 17 acre lifestyle block in Tinopai, Northland, where we rescue animals, attempt to have a thriving garden, and run our own businesses.
We’re both diagnosed ADHD, so keeping up with farm projects, gardens, and just general housework can often be a battle! So we’d love some help moving these projects along and helping with the up keep of the overall property.
We LOVE animals and can't wait to turn more of this block of land into a safe haven for ex farm animals. We currently have 4 rescue cows, 2 rescue steer, and 2 kunekune pigs who enjoy the company of humans, a bachelor flock of Roosters (I hope you don't mind an early wake up call), 2 dogs and 3 cats. We also frequently foster kittens so being comfortable around animals is a must!
In our free time we enjoy crafting, reading, a good TV series and playing games. I have curated our home to be a cosy, safe and relaxing space for us and anyone passing through.
A few thing to note:
- We eat plant based (+ our friends free range eggs)
- We have a no meat and dairy rule. As an aspiring animal sanctuary we believe it wouldn't be right to consume animal products here.
- We smoke cannabis and drink alcohol recreationally

Spare room with queen bed. Shared bathroom, kitchen and living area. Our home is small and simple but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Unlimited WIFI, Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and Neon.
