Staying at Anita's was a true blessing on my journey. I'd been looking for a place to recharge and settle down in a regenerative environment—a place that, reminiscent of what it's called, would feel like the healing balm of birdsongs in the morning. And Anita's place was more than I had hoped for: a nice and private little oasis tucked between
… read more foliage, giving out to a wide and gorgeous view over a lagoon brimming with nautical life.
Anita herself is extremely caring, receptive, and accommodating. We bonded over time, and she went out of her way to make the most of our time together. I am extremely grateful for my time there.

It’s a pleasure to leave feedback for Alex. He is a kind, considerate and responsible helper/person whom I could rely upon to get any of the tasks I set for him done with focus and speed. I needed a lot of help in my garden, particularly on a state bank that I have difficulty accessing and Alex Spent many hours dealing to a very insidious vine

Anita was a brilliant host and the little cabin in Haumoana was a lovely stay! I helped Anita with her decking, which needed staining and a bit of a refresh. Anita gave directions well, it was clear what tasks needed to be done and it was satisfying to see the decking rejuvenated by the end of my stay.
I very much enjoyed waking up to the sound
… read more of the dawn chorus and hearing some birds squabbling as they pattered across the cabin roof. I didn’t have a car, so explored the local area via foot and also borrowed Anita’s bike. Haumoana is lovely - I filled my time with walks and reading on the beach in the sunshine. There’s a local shop with the essentials and also a coffee kiosk which I became a big fan of. I also got the opportunity to go for a couple of morning swims with Anita & friends, a highlight of the stay and an amazing way to start the day.

Excellent helper. Lou helped me prep and stain a deck. Her deck prep work was meticulous and staining as she was directed. Lou is very capable of following directions and completing her assigned work. Lou is very easy to get along with and I enjoyed her very much. She is a highly recommended helper.

I had a wonderful time at Anita's house in Haumoana. The morning swims with Anita and her lovely friends were a highlight of my stay. Her lakeside home is truly enchanting, and she was really kind, helpful, and flexible with the tasks. Grazie mille, Anita!
