Though It was only 1 week stay, spending time with Emma and Matt was so fantastic.
In spite of sudden acceptance, they were really welcoming and I felt relaxed so much.
I worked approximately 2-3 hours everyday, and in return, they gave me a comfortable room, excellent meals , information about local places. I liked to stay as a workawayer here,
… read more where there were beautiful and lovely scenery of hills! Even if you are tired of some tasks, you can be fine to see that spread in front of you. They are awesome and if you have been looking for the place you do workaway, I recommend here.

Laura was a fantastic house guest and even better worker. She helped us to plant trees. She quickly learnt how to do this and was able to work with us and on her own when necessary. We enjoyed showing her a few of our favourite places and and it was great to see that she loved the area as much as we do.

What an amazing experience!
I stayed with Emma and Matt for three weeks and I spent with them such a great time!
About the project, I helped with weeding and planting native South Australia plants in their property: a really worthwhile project.
About the location, it is one of the best place I have been so far in Australia. You are surrounded by
… read more vineyards and hills, you can go for a walk on some nice trails and with a short drive you can reach the coast (I did the Route 31 and I really recommend it); so you need a car, otherwise you are quite isolated and you lose the possibility to discover this amazing area.
Emma and Matt are such a caring, lovely and welcoming couple. And their dog is so cute and cuddly!
From the first moment, Emma gave me a lots of intersting tips about the places to visit in the surrounding area and some brochures about Fleurieu Peninsula and Adelaide Hills, that I really appreciated.
They provided me a really cozy bedroom and healthy and delicious food. I already miss our chats about our travelling around the world!
I felt like home during these past three weeks and I will be forever grateful.
I wish them all the best and I hope to come back one day and admire the native forest I helped them create.

It was a pleasure to have Bethan stay with us both times she came. She helped with mulching, watering and then planting in the winter. She had such a great attitude towards working on the property and was always willing to help and learn. Our dog especially liked having her stay and so did we. Her help was invaluable for our revegetation project

They are both so welcoming, providing excellent food, recommendations and even taking me out to see local places. … read more helped mulch in December and learnt so much about native plants. I came back to help plant in May with Laney the lovely dog checking on my work. The location is spectacular with an incredible number of vineyards nearby, hiking trails and a short drive to the coast. Really need a car to stay here but it is a paradise.
