  !Hello! We are Iru and Hugo, Iru is from La Gomera and Hugo is Swiss (French-speaking part) We have met traveling through Latin America, and now after years of traveling, we have wanted to establish our project, and offer the experience of hosting volunteering, which is a honor, since we have been volunteers for many years. Now we live in the farm, located in the north of the island of La Gomera, in the town of Vallhermoso. Here we develope a projectof regenerative agriculture, we cultivate avocado trees, mango, papaya, and a lot of diferent veggies, we want to continue planting fruit trees and create a fruit forest. We have been living here since mid-2020, and our idea of life here is; learn from the land, try to live more and more autonomously, generate health in our bodies and in nature, recover knowledge of the territory, for this, in a part of the land, we are cultivating fruits and vegetables, based on permaculture ideas and also on the traditional farming methods of the area. We have the plan to dedicate another part of the land to the cultivation of medicinal plants.
  . We also have another small farm in the east of the island where we are rebuilding an old kiln, with mud, and planting trees to recover the soil in that area.

  Nos hemos conocido viajando por Latinoamérica, y ahora despues de años viajando, hemos querido asentar nuestro proyecto, y ofrecer la experiencia de hospedar voluntariado, lo cual es un honor, ya que nosotras hemos sido voluntarias muchos años.
  Ahora vivimos en la finca, ubicada en el norte de la isla de la Gomera, en el pueblo de Vallhermoso. La finca tiene unos 3000m cuadrados, tiene unos 20 aguacateros, 10 mangueros y otros pequeños frutales, queremos seguir plantando frutales y crear un bosque frutal.
  Aquí llevamos viviendo desde mediados del 2020, y nuestra idea de vida aquí es; aprender de la tierra, vivir más autonomamente, generar salud en nuestros cuerpos y en la naturaleza, recuperar saberes del territorio, para ello, en una parte del terreno, estamos cultivando frutas y hortalizas, basándonos en ideas de la permacultura y también en los métodos de cultivo tradicionales de la zona.
  Tenemos el plan de dedicar otra parte del terreno al cultivo de plantas medicinales.
  También tenemos otra pequeña finca en el este de la isla donde estamos reconstruyendo un antiguo horno, con barro, y plantando árboles para recuperar el suelo de esa zona.

  Acomodação

  We ask for about 5 hours of work 5 days a week with breakfast and 1 meal (vegetarian). There is one rom for volunteers we have space for max 3. There is also a camping area or places to put the hammock to rest under the avocado trees.
  
  Pedimos unos 5 horas de trabajos 5 dias a la semana con desayuno y 1 comida(vegetariana). Hay una habitación para un máximo de 2 voluntarias.
  También hay zona de camping o lugares donde poner la hamaca para descansar bajo los aguacateros.

  La Gomera is an island for nature lovers, if you like to walk and observe incredible landscapes you will not get bored, near the house there are several routes, there is also a good connection with the bus network that connects with other towns on the island . the Garajonay forest, which is a National Park, is half an hour away by car.
  
  La gomera es una isla para amantes de la naturaleza, si te gusta caminar y observar paisajes increíbles no te vas a aburrir, cerca de la casa hay varias rutas, también hay buena conexión con la red de autobuses que conectan con otros pueblos de la isla.
  El bosque de Garajonay, que es Parque Nacional, está a media hora en coche.
