Yannick and Barbara were wonderful Work Aways! They did a fantastic job of raking up bark and leaves in our property and helping to get it ready for burning off. They managed their own work time and were a delight to have around, always polite and great communicators. We would happily recommend them to any hosts!
It was our first workaway experience and we really enjoyed our time and the work at Rose & Tristans home. First we only wanted to stay for one week but we extended our time up to two weeks.
The workload of 4-5 hours per day was excellent. In exchange you get a very nice, clean and cool room and additional delicious vegetarian food. Managing your
… read more day independently is super comfortable. You can either work in the morning, noon or afternoon however you want, just make sure your job is done.
This is a perfect escape from the busy cities and you will be able to enjoy the nature and wildlife in it's fullest. The highlight of our day were the kangaroos passing by in the early morning or afternoon - such cute and amazing animals!

Diana is a wonderful person and we enjoyed having her in our home. She worked hard to clear up bark and branches on our property to get it ready for fire season. She was great at working independently and managing her time. I just showed her what needed to be done and she made it happen! She was always very contentious and respectful of our home

This was my first workaway experience and it couldn't have been any better. I stayed for around 3 weeks. The tasks were realistic and well explained. I had a lot of space, freedom and independence and all of that in a lovely place with plenty of animals - as you can read in the description. The house is great and the property is beautiful. The

It was so awesome having Manuel at our house. He is such a motivated and capable worker, but also just a really great person and a delight to have around. He did a fantastic job of clearing our property in preparation for fire season. He was great with our kids (ages 7 & 9) who thought he was the "best WorkAwayer ever!" and we tend to agree. We

I had a great time staying with Rose, Tristan and the kids. I could manage my work time and free time on my own and enjoyed working outside amongst the kangaroos. One of my tasks was clearing the property from branches and leaves and burning them to make all bush fire safe. I did some gardening and also some repair works. Besides work I enjoyed
… read more having dinner together, playing games and going on short hikes. The place is perfect to get some fresh air and some rest from the busy cities.
