Descrição
We are a project for organic farming. The goal is to grow concience in how we humans can produce healthy nourishment for our bodyes and soul, respecting nature and all the hands working in the process. We live in an area with scarce water resources, and we have a goal of innovating as much as we can to keep up with the increasing challenge. The farm has 300 olive trees that were abandoned for years and the mission is to restore them to their full splendor. We plant seasonal crops, rotating every year and experimenting with new plants as much as we can. In winter 2023, with the loving help of many workawayers, we established a 480 pistachio tree plantation, and there are sevaral other projects on the way.

Santiago will be glad to teach you as much spanish as he can.Acomodação
The house has 3 bedrooms, one bathroom and a kitchen/dinning room. Santiago, the founder of the project lives full time in the house, the next room is Chicharron's ("The Cat, master of the realm), and then there is the guest room, a space with two beds, desk, and a rustic armoir. The WiFi in the area is not great (you wont be able to play online games, but we are escaping from that, right?) but it will keep you in touch with the world. Workawayers wil share breakfast, lunch and dinner with Santiago. He is an excelent cook, and will make omnivorous, vegetarian or vegan meals at request (and any special diet if teached how to). If a workawayer rathers cook him/herself you only need to ask for the ingredients (providing they are locally produced).
Algo mais...
We are placed in San Francisco, a scarcely populated area 17km away from Villa Tulumaya, head district in Lavalle Mendoza. THere are 4 daily buses from the farm to there, and Tulumaya is 50 minutes away from Mendoza City, with buses every 30 minutes. Santiago will be glad to drive you to nearby destinations and maybe share longer trips some weekends. We have two bikes for you to go explore the sorroundings, there are several farms in the vicinity and if you follow the road for 2 more km youll find a bast desert
