--- June & July opportunity---
Do you want to visit Granada? We will be working a lot in the garden: improving the irrigation system, weeding, taking care of our baby plants. And at home: barnishing the wood, painting, cleaning...
It's important that you don't mind getting up very early, to work in the garden from 7 until 10. Don't worry, this is only 3 days a week. The other 2, you'll be working in the afternoon-evening. It'll be great also if you have good organizational skills and be very tidy.
Helping around the house involves cleaning, so you must be someone who has formerly lived on her own and who is used to cleaning around the house.
ABOUT US:
We are a travelling family living in Granada, we have two daughters, a five year old and a six year old one. We want our children to grow up surrounded by international experiences. We are looking for a person to share some family time with us.
OUR HOME:
We live close to Granada city centre, in a house we have been renovating for the last 4 years. It has a patio and a space for a vegetable garden. We need to work both in the inside and the outside of the house. We can offer a private room to the person volunteering. We also offer breakfast and lunch or dinner.
OUR NEIGHBOURGHOOD
We live on a very quiet street, next to a park, on a typical Spanish neighbourhood. You have supermarkets and little shops, as well as bars and coffee shops. The city centre is only 20 minutes away on foot, but there's a bus stop only 1 minute away, if you do t want to walk.
PREFERRED VOLUNTEERS:
We are looking for someone who likes children and planta, Who IS energetic and happy to clean, very tidy and organised because we have to tidy up a lot with these little 2 girls around.

Somos una familia de viajeros de España y Colombia. Hemos usado workaway como voluntarios en nuestro viaje por América Latina. Ahora, nos gustaría que nuestras hijas crecieran en un ambiente internacional, por lo que buscamos personas que quieran compartir un poco de tiempo con nosotros. Vivimos en una casa cerca del centro de Granada, con patio y un jardín / huerto. Estamos en proceso de reconstrucción, decoración y creación del jardín. El/la voluntario/a tendrá su propia habitación y baño. Buscamos a personas a las que les gusten mucho los niños, el jardín y sean limpios y ordenados.
Buscamos a alguien versátil, que le gusten las manualidades y el jardín, pintar y decorar, pero también limpiar y cocinar. Todos hacemos de todo aquí.

We offer housing and food as well as the possibility to learn Spanish by being in contact with the language, although while the kids are around, the language of communication will be English. You'll learn how's the life of a Spanish family first hand.
We have traveled to many places so we can share many stories and experiences. We love food.

Acomodação
Private room. We offer you half board (breakfast and one meal per day). We love food, so we love cooking together. We can share many recipes together, Spanish and Colombian cuisine mostly, except for a couple of days per week, that we might be away or chilling out. For the meal that is not included you'd need to provide food for yourself, you'll have space in the cupboard and fridge for your own food.
Please it's very important to bear in mind we're not a free buffet hotel.
Habitación privada. Te ofrecemos media pensión, el desayuno y una comida al día. Nos gusta mucho cocinar, así que para los voluntarios cocinamos comidas típicas españolas y colombianas, excepto un par de días a la semana, que descansamos. La otra comida corre de tu cuenta, no la incluimos. Tendrás espacio en la nevera y en el armario para tus propios alimentos.
Es muy importante tener en cuenta que no somos un buffet libre.

There's a parking space next to the house, in a levelled ground with some shade. There have been a couple of camper trucks living there for some months.
