I had the pleasure of staying with Ann for two weeks.
Ann generously included me in her daily life—taking walks, shopping at Carrefour, and introducing me to her friends and family.
I also learned so much from Ann, who is such a kind-hearted, eco-conscious person with a deep care for animals and the environment. Her place was cozy, the meals she
… read more prepared were delicious, and I loved the company of her adorable dog and cat.
The memories I made in Bever will always be cherished. I helped to sand wood for Ann’s new closet—looking forward to seeing the final result haha!
For my first time as a workawayer, I had a wonderful time and will definitely recommend it☺️

Emilie is an amazing young woman. She is friendly, calm, communicative, very pleasant to deal with. She sees what has to be done and takes care of it, even without asking her. She is very handy and fixed several things here, so pleasant for me!!!! She is good with animals too, Snoetje really liked her!!!

I really enjoyed my time at Ann's place, I was there for over 4 Weeks and it felt like a home to me! I loved the animals and the surroundings where Anns place is. I went on a lot of walks and bike rides. I would really recommend doing Workaway at Ann's if you like being in nature and like to calm down a little bit. Maybe I will be back at some

It was a great pleasure to have Neta in my house! She's a very lovely young woman. She was very helpfull, and she was so nice with the animals too! Snoetje, my dog, felt really good with her. We had many interesting talks, And also a lot of laughs. I can certainly recommand her!

I spent a wonderful week with Ann! She was always very kind and welcoming and i enjoyed our conversations during the delicious healthy meals she makes. Her garden is like a fairytale! And i already miss the dog and cat :)

Sorry for the very late review. Maria is a very enthousiastic women who knows what she wants and does what she wants in life. I admire that. She made very delicious meals and helped a lot in and around the house. A warm-hearted woman is what I remember! Till we meet in Portugal, Maria!!!

I called it Raspberry Paradise! In the quietest countryside of Belgium, beautiful garden full of berries, the best decorated and comfy house i've been to and a lovely host! Ann lives and cooks in an ecological way, all the food is picked or bought in bio places. I could help a bit petsitting, gardening and cooking and we kept eachother company

My 2 weeks staying with Ann, Snoetje and Winnie were very healing for me. I experienced what is means to: - build a meaningful connection with Ann - really appreciate and care for an animal with someone who shares the conviction that they deserve respect - understand better the behaviour of traumatised animals and improve my own behaviour around
… read more them - live life slowly and peacefully in nature - identify and use new foraged plants and herbs - grow foods organically - cook REALLY tasty vegan and health food meals - put the world the world to rights in very interesting and thought provoking conversations - share feelings of grief and feel empowered by it - cry reading le petit prince for the first time - wake up to bird song and fall asleep to silence and a ticking clock... And more!
All this before I learnt practically how to renovate a room from scratch by insulating the walls in the company of a really patient, hard working handy man! A useful bit of experience I'm glad I picked up.
Ann is the perfect host - she welcomed me with so much warmth and I left feeling very inspired by her curiosity and motivations in life. She didn't put me to the whip at all regarding work and shared so much with me, including hikes, city trips and her friends.
