Rod stayed at my place for 10 days, he is not only easy to have around but also a very capable worker and was a great help with outdoor tasks. My animals loved him and he was also very capable with the horses and quiet around them. Milking a goat was also on his list of chores which he tackled easily. Would highly recommend him to another host.

I arrived in Queenstown New Zealand when it was 8 degrees and snow and hitchhiked right away to Winton to a warm fire.Thank you for everything Sylvia

Had two incredible and relaxing weeks with Sylvia. The work is great fun and surprisingly varied.
Sylvia is a very tolerant and kind host, staying with her felt like sharing a flat with a good friend.
The best thing is for sure the company of her lovely animals, which are very trusty and in a big need of cuddles.

I hosted Paul for 2 weeks, he was a fantastic help and a hard worker. He loved my dogs and was happy to take them on long walks. He was food company and very easy to have around. He is also a wonderful cook and makes fantastic pizzas! I would certainly recommend him to any other hosts and wish him well on his travels.

I spend two great weeks with Sylvia. The house is lovely, the bed was really confortable. The dogs are so nice and playful.
I worked around 4hours per day, gardening, cleaning,… it was always doable.

I stayed with Sylvia for only one week and I loved it. The dogs are around you all the time, so you better be a dog lover! Especially Arty tries to help you with your work. He's not helping at all :-D.

… read more branches, driving around with the quad (extra fun), cleaning the troughs and the hen's shed, weeding and some other stuff. In my spare time she took me for rides with her horses at the nearby beach and the forest. That was awesome.
I liked Sylvia's company, too. She's such a lovely, kind person! She has a cute little farm where you can enjoy the peace and all the animals.

I stayed with Sylvia for a lovely 10 days! She lives on a beautiful large property in a quiet area, so there is plenty of space to relax! Although with the 3 lively dogs and 2 cats there is always something going on. I spent lots of time cuddling with the dogs, who are very sweet :)

… read more stacking firewood and weeding the gardens, and I assembled some furniture. I enjoyed learning to drive the quad and use the weed-eater and sprayers.

Staying at Sylvia's place was a great experience. Sylvia is a very generous, flexible, open animal loving person The work variety is great, from driving a quad or building a fence to watching over animals everything can be included.
