Hi!
We are a friendly couple from Latvia who feel most alive when outdoors.
Being in the wilderness, surrounded by fresh air and the beauty of nature is something that we enjoy very much! — whether it’s heading out for a hike, putting up a tent, or gathering wood to make a campfire at the end of the day.

But traveling really fuels our spirits, and we are happiest with a tent, a good pair of boots, and the world to explore on foot.

We're also both hands-on people who find joy in physical work, practical tasks and problem solving, and comfortable rolling up our sleeves and getting involved.

We have a cat, and we believe in living simply and minimally :)

Quais são suas habilidades?

We are a hands-on couple with a diverse set of practical skills and a strong work ethic. We pride ourselves on being adaptable, reliable, and eager to pitch in wherever help is needed, making us a great fit for a variety of hosting situations. We have a broad background with equal experience in both office environments and physically demanding roles.

Baiba: -
Four years of experience working in fast-paced logistics company as a warehouse worker keeping up with a tight schedule while performing physically demanding workloads, where I developed strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team. I also have experience in office record management, both in a municipal kindergarten and the State border guard headquarters, where I learned to be punctual, efficient, and able to handle tasks calmly even in stressful situations. Additionally, I have practical hands-on gardening experience, including planting and weeding. I am adaptable, reliable, and eager to contribute my skills in a variety of settings. I’m also learning Norwegian—it’s my latest hobby, and I love the challenge. -

Edvards: -
I am tech-savvy: comfortable with computers, web administration and websites and have also worked extensively with administrative and office-related tasks. Photo editing and graphic design, blogging and content management are among my other digital skills, so I can assist with online presence or content creation if needed.
On the other hand, I have spent lots of time in roles that require practical, hands-on work—including being a stagehand for concerts and festivals, working with heavy technical equipment, working on a farm with horses, assisting in hotel kitchens (dishwashing), cleaning pool areas, and performing general housekeeping duties. This combination has made me adaptable, reliable, and able to handle a wide range of tasks both independently and as part of a team. I’m also comfortable taking on seasonal tasks such as snow plowing and chopping wood.
I have years of experience in customer service and tourism, working in souvenir shops where I assisted visitors, sold goods, offered tastings, shared interesting facts, and helped tourists feel welcome and informed.

Together, we have a diverse range of skills and experiences, from digital work and administration to hands-on tasks outdoors and in hospitality. We’re adaptable, hardworking, and eager to pitch in wherever we’re needed, whether that means helping with technology, organizing, gardening, or practical everyday work. We enjoy learning new things and look forward to contributing our energy and enthusiasm to any project.

In addition, we have a passion for working with animals and are happy to help with feeding, grooming, and general care.

We are looking for at least two weeks volunteering opportunity and would be happy to stay longer if needed. We’re flexible with our plans and open to extending our stay. And, yes, we can work weekends from time to time.
