Hi, we are a couple that have been interested in moving to a new country, start something new, when we heard about workaway. We immediately found it interesting. We both love to travel, we love activities, we love animals, we are social and get along with most people, and we love to help.

In spring this year Siri rented out her home and moved into a motorhome. Rune was triggered by the idea and have been helping to improve the motorhome and make it more practical. Living in a motorhome was easier than expected. The next level of living seems to be to work our way through different places and locations. We both agree that the experience is so much richer when we are in contact with other people. And in addition, it makes every day more meaningful when we have someone to help.

We are especially inspired by animal welfare and society oriented projects.

We like to be active, to create something, to spend time in nature, to be by the water, to go hiking, to be around animals, to learn new things. In addition, Rune loves to read books. Siri likes to dance; kizomba, zouk, bachata, salsa.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Rune is a person who is practical. He loves to create things with his own hands. He has experience in smaller construction projects on his own and as a participant in larger construction projects. He knows carpentry, how to lay concrete, lay roofs, lay pipes, instal electricity, etc. With the breadth of experience he has, he is also well accustomed to many types of tools.

Key words: Carpentry, Formwork, Bricklaying, Tile laying, Welding, Paint, Metalwork (i.e. rust welding on cars, melting metal to make parts, forging), Plumbing, Electrical work (i.e. installation of electrical system, troubleshooting and repair, repair of appliances and machinery), Mechanics, Logging and gardening, Stone and slate laying, Machine operator (i.e. operating excavators), Animals (running a farm for 6 months with: horses, dairy cows, suckle cows, chickens, sheep, goats. Pets: dog, cat, parakeet, guinea pig, goldfish.)

Business wise, Siri is very interested in new ways of running businesses, with focus on value and trust instead of control and command. The last 8 years Siri have been teaching in quality management leadership and auditing. She is also very interested in self-development and wants to change how we perceive problems. By education Siri has bachelor in chemistry, master in business administration (MBA). In addition, she is a certified NLP coach and dog trainer (pos. feedback). She also spends time getting familiar with Trust technique, human design and genekeys.
