Hello! Hola y buenas. We're Shannon and Jeremy, two travelers volunteering together, both originally from California. We're currently traveling and volunteering (2025) helping at hostels, hotels, and guest houses
We're open minded, friendly, have lots of life experience, love connecting with people on more than a surface level, and are on journeys of emotional openness and growth along with our travels. We both believe strongly in equality and respect for all people. We also like to have deep talks with hosts/guests and are pretty fun too.
On the practical/work side we have lots of hostel/hotel volunteering experience. We're both organized and responsible, very connected to customer service and making sure guests have an amazing stay, and love to create a friendly vibe for all. Jeremy especially likes to host evening chill/drinks time, play some music, and create a safe and fun space for guests to socialize and get to know each other.
We love taking care of pets, helping to sell local products, organizing tours, learning and providing local knowledge to guests, and can assist with computers and the Internet.
Working with small teams and with other volunteers is one of our favorite things about volunteering. We care about the environment and about people and communities. We always want to leave a place better than we found it and strive to build connections and share experiences with hosts and travelers. We look for conscious and caring groups of people.

When volunteering at a hostel, hotel, or guest house we enjoy helping the guests, providing breakfast, cleaning the common areas and kitchen, hosting evening music/chill/social time for the guests, and doing things to ensure a great stay for the customers. We think keeping the place clean for guests is very important and it helps them have an excellent stay and become repeat customers
