I was born and raised in a small city in New Zealand until I was 16 and relocated to Newcastle Australia where I completed my high school and university studies. I then spent 5 years working in finance in Sydney before deciding to quit my job and embark on my travels!
I explored Europe and Turkey for 3 months before heading to South East Asia where I've been for the past 5 months.
After a long time on the road, I'm eager to establish a bit more of a routine and make meaningful contributions with my work.
I grew up around nature a lot, with my father being an outdoor education teacher and an avid adventure racer. I share a similar passion for the outdoors and would like to one day transition to a role that enables me to spend more time in the places I love. I love to spend time in the water too and enjoy learning to surf.
I'm looking to connect with people as well on my travels and learn from different cultures. I'm also (slowly) learning Spanish.

My professional background in finance for the previous five years has helped me develop strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, which I believe would make me a valuable asset. I'm comfortable working to timelines and being under pressure.
I am also physically fit and am comfortable with manual labour and outdoor tasks.
