Hi there! My name is Oliver, and I am 23 years old. Thank you for taking a look at my profile!
I have been living in Melbourne, Australia, for about 15 years now. I moved here with my family from New Zealand. So I understand what it is like moving and travelling to new places and countries.
I am passionate about helping others and creating authentic, genuine memories and experiences.
I have previously travelled to Europe with my partner for four months. I enjoy exploring new places, primarily out of interest in the culture, but also the landscape and the natural environment.
Growing up in a very small town in New Zealand made me love nature, and it has always been a big part of my life. I have a pretty laid-back, easy-going personality, and I don't mind my own company. In my spare time, I get out and take photos, do some drawing, explore nature, hang out with my dogs, see friends and family, or watch films or TV series. I also am into Yoga, body-weight exercise, meditation, and just generally doing things that allow me to have inner stillness.
I was a very sporty kid growing up, I played LOTS of football (soccer) and Futsal. More recently, I stopped that as travel became something I was more interested in. I have two younger brothers, so I am used to being the 'clean one', always tidying up around the house after them, and making sure they don't kill each other 😅
For work, I am currently a Disability Support Worker, so I spend a lot of time around others, being attentive, and helping them achieve their goals and aspirations. From time to time, I help out a small video production company in Melbourne by capturing Photography and Video for them. I have helped out on a few productions with them, which is super fun and rewarding! I enjoy doing creative stuff when I can.
I look forward to meeting new people from all around the world, learning new skills and gaining knowledge of the places that I visit, and sharing fun, wholesome memories with the people I am with!Interesses

Quais são suas habilidades?
I have worked with children before as a referee for Football/Futsal, I have coached kids, helping them learn new skills, and always being fair and ensuring it's a fun time. As mentioned in my description, I also have two younger brothers now aged 18 & 20, so I know what it's like in a busy, and sometimes chaotic household!
I completed a Certificate in Screen and Media at RMIT in Melbourne after finishing high school, where I learned to work in a group/team environment, planning and creating creative video projects on live productions. This involved lots of problem-solving, teamwork, and open communication. I have a lot of experience with Photography (which I learned before this course), so I know how to use cameras and how to edit. I have experience working on live sets as an AD, doing sound recording and capturing photography and videos of people, as mentioned in my description.
I am pretty good with technology, and I have previously worked doing Digital Marketing and Content Creation for a few years. This involved managing client budgets, planning and creating advertisements and content for them, and staying on top of tasks given to me from our clients via email or direct calls. I have used Google, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram for this work.
Working as a Disability Support Worker has taught me a lot of skills, particularly how to effectively and thoughtfully have conversations with clients, allowing them space, and having at times, extreme levels of patience. Some things I may do at work include: help walk with them to complete social activities or shopping outside of their home, visit new exhibitions or events in the area, or just help them organise their life. I have experience with Autism (ASD), Cerebral Palsy, and Multiple Sclerosis.
Patience is something I feel is missing in society, at least where I live, especially being able to remain calm and collected in sometimes difficult situations when others may lose their temper, get agitated or just ignore others. I have also become more aware of people's situations, and in turn, become much more grateful for having basic things like my physical and mental health.
I have painted our family's other property with my younger brother (just inside), as we prepared it for possible tenants. I also have some basic experience with tools, for example, I have made a small wooden coffee table as a project.
I also help my family if they need help with their garden. I am by no means an 'expert' at gardens, but I can help you with it if needed.Idade
