Hi beautiful humans, I'm Nora! I'm from Belgium and I'm open-minded, dynamic, language lover. After several intense years doing a PhD in psycholinguistics and education, I’m taking some time to travel, learn, and reconnect with the world, and with myself, in a slower more meaningful way. I speak English, Dutch and Italian, don't hesitate to connect with me!
Aside from traveling and discovering new cultures, I have a deep love for food (both cooking and eating), music, painting and dancing, anything arts-related! I'm a musician and will never pass up the opportunity to jam with others, or to dance salsa for that matter!

I’m someone who enjoys being useful, supporting others, and contributing with care and respect. I feel most alive when I’m learning, exchanging, and creating small moments of connection.

I initiated my studies with a bachelor in Literature and Modern languages in English, Italian and Dutch. After a first master in linguistics and a second one in Language and Cognition, I eventually decided to move to the research aspect of language development, but my first love was to teach. I was a teaching assistant at the University of Leuven (Belgium) for bachelor level students, and I gave private lessons tutoring English as a second language.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I speak four languages fluently: French, English, Dutch, and Italian, and I’m very comfortable communicating in multicultural environments.

I'm currently finishing a PhD in Psychology and Educational Sciences in Belgium , where I manage several big research projects focusing on music and learning disabilities. I also have experience teaching at university level as well as giving private English-as-a-second-language lessons.
I'm used to working independently as well as in a team. Alongside my academic work, I’m an artist and musician, with experience in creative projects, communication, and social media, which helps me connect easily with people of different ages and backgrounds.

I’m reliable, adaptable, and happy to support where needed while learning from my hosts.

In the artistic department, aside from my music skills, which involve singing, playing piano and guitar, I spend a lot of time painting with acrylic and drawing.
