Hello! My name is Matilda:) I was born in Scotland but grew up in a little town called Haines, Alaska.

Im interested in acquiring as many beautiful and unfamiliar experiences as I can. Currently I am headed home to work but am looking to find a workaway this winter somewhere I can learn how to surf!

My passions are exploring the outdoors and expressing myself creatively. I love just about any outdoor sport (I snowboard, xc ski, paddleboard, hike, kayak, bike, etc!) and I adore ceramics, books, music, kind people, and good food & conversation!

Quais são suas habilidades?

Growing up in Southeast Alaska, a good work ethic was built into my everyday life. As a result of my upbringing, I am a confident outdoorsman and love to work in nature. I have experience working in commercial fishing on a gillnetting vessel, in a food truck as the cook/server/prepper, and as a shop assistant in a local gallery. Therefore, I feel very comfortable working in team settings, providing customer service, and doing heavy manual labor. I also have lots of experience with gardenwork, DIY projects, and childcare.

Outside of functional skills, I also enjoy learning new things and I've got plenty of Alaskan fishing stories to tell!
