Hi :) we are Lea (23) and Jonas (23) - a couple and both psychology students from Germany on our way to become psychotherapists.

Lea: I love good food (especially risotto, ramen or summer rolls), doing yoga and being creative. In my free time, I like to disappear into books or movies or into nature around my beautiful hometown Jena. I can quickly become interested and enthusiastic about almost anything :) .
With Workaway, I want to get to know other realities of life than my own, be out in the fresh air a lot and meet lovely people.

Jonas: I like to spend my free time reading or going for strolls in the nature. Oh and I love cooking for friends. I am really into art and philosophy and always down for a nice chat over cup of coffee or a glass of wine. I love meeting new people! And lately I fell in love with dogs. But since I have neither money nor experience being a dog owner is a future dream. For now I am fine to watch cute pictures of dogs on instagram haha.

We could prepare to teach German for a workaway stay and Lea is also very interested in practicing and using my - still very limited :) - Swedish, as well as getting back to my French. Jonas is skilled in French and Arabic as well and could teach English too.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Jonas: Being a former Au-Pair in Paris I have experience watching children. I also worked as a tutor so I really love to teach! I could help out with some English, French or German if needed. I loooove cooking and I can cook for loads of people! Even more with home-grown vegetables! I am not experienced with crafting or gardening yet but I am curious and a fast learner so I am sure that I can catch up quick.

Lea: my psychology studies and interest in people and lifestyles, it is easy for me to get in touch with people and also gained experience in psychological counselling in my voluntary work. I really like interacting with children, which is why I worked as a babysitter in my teen years or like to spend time with my 13 years younger cousins. I help my granny and mother with gardening tasks from time to time, but I would like to learn more about that! I also enjoy working with wood, oiling or varnishing, and I have already completed small garden projects with friends or my parents in the past. Even though I don't have a lot of manual skills yet, I am motivated to learn new things.
