Hello! My name is Katherine and I'm 31 years old. I am an American traveling and volunteering full-time. Since September 2021, I have lived and volunteered in Kenya, Thailand, Cambodia, and many more.

In August I will graduate with a Master’s in Social Work and am also training to be a postpartum doula. After graduation, I plan to work as an international social worker with children and families.

Currently, I am seeking volunteer opportunities beginning May or June in Philippines, particularly in social work/NGOs, providing professional childcare, or teaching English. I am TEFL certified and hold a BA degree in Directing for Theater.

Childcare Experience: I have over 12 years of experience working with children aged 2 months to 12 years, primarily as a private professional nanny but also at a Montessori preschool and in summer camps. I also have experience in theater and directing, so I love incorporating imagination and creativity into my work.

I would be thrilled to learn more about your culture and religion while helping teach children English, supporting your community, or assisting with other work! I grew up traveling the world with my family and even lived on a boat. I am eager to continue exploring new places and meeting new people.

Hobbies: Outside of travel, I enjoy trying new foods, scuba diving, and theater arts/dance. I identify as LGBT and would love to work with a family or community that supports this.
