Biking, camping, a lot of volunteering.
Traveling the way I'm used to now, became my lifestyle.
Since I'm in the zone between working and retiring, I'm even more flexible in moving around in Europe.

Usually I combine Workaway with covering distances on a bicycle (or by walking :-)).
Staying in a family for 3 weeks is therefore to long: 7, 10 or 14 days is more realistic for my way of traveling. Exceptions can be made.
So, because of my rather short stay, it's time saving to know from the beginning what type of work I can do ... and painting and decorating I can :-)
I have very good experiences with working in this way. Look at the feedback and you will see people were happy :-) and I was happy too.

A workawayer could not come as planned. Fortunately Kris was nearby on her bike while we put out a "last-minute" request. In this way I could enjoy outdoors paintwork and gardenwork.

Having Kris at home was a wonderful experience. Kris painted my bedroom and even made beautiful symbols on the wall. The place has become not only beautiful but also filled with good vibes, because that is who she is.

Kris is full of energy and has a great working spirit.
It was very good to have Kris here during the confusing times of the Coronavirus the best way is just to work and forget what's going on. We managed to do so much and finally I could move into the cabin last week thanks to Kris and many other volunteers.

Marcello 's 'property' became my temporarely safe-haven on Corsica short after Corona-hysteria broke out on Sardinia and I, after all, suceeded in catching a ferry away from Italy, to France.
It became an exceptional Workaway-experience.

Kris knows how to get things done! She is a hard worker that doesn't sit still too much.
I loved being inspired by her travels, and the vibe of "yes, can do" she brought to the place.

Hosting Kris 1 week was an excellent experience. She played, laughed and talked with the kids, painted our walls very well and neatly, took care of the tools, and we shared nice moments. We're impressed with her bike travels ! Merci beaucoup Kris, bons voyages !!

Never met a couple of people as empathetic as Susan and Finn.
We had great local fresh food prepared by Susan, every day.
