Kia Ora! 🙋🏼‍♀️

My name is Kerstin, but my nickname is Tini. I am from Austria where I studied physiotherapy and graduated in October 2023. Since November I have been traveling through Indonesia and since January I have been in beautiful New Zealand.🎓✈️🇳🇿

I am a fast learner and a very positive and compassionate person who loves to connect with people and learn new things to live a colourful happy life. 🌞✨🔥

I love meeting new people and immersing myself in the culture of another country. Since I work in health care I love helping other people and I truly believe that together we can achieve much more. As an animal lover and pet owner I am also keen on working with non-humans too! 🤝🫶🐶

As I grew up in the countryside of Austria, I feel at home in nature and am used to being surrounded by lots of plants and animals. I have always helped out at home around the house and our vegetable garden from a young age and have no problem working hard and getting my hands dirty. 🌻🐓👨‍🌾

My hobbies are skiing, yoga, running, climbing… almost every type of sports! I also love to cook, bake and cuddle with my dog or play the piano. In Bali I did a yoga teaching training and I fell in love with the philosophy of yoga. 🧘🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️🏋🏼‍♀️

I also have a lot of work experience through my numerous summer jobs in different restaurants and as a babysitter as well as my profession as a physiotherapist. I have always worked during the vacations and alongside my studies.
I think Workaway is a great opportunity to get to know a country and the locals better, learn new skills, make new friends and to expand my personal horizon. 👩🏼‍🍳🧑🏼‍🌾👩🏼‍🏫

- I am a physiotherapist so I know a lot about the human body and I love to work with people of all ages, especially children
- I am a yoga teacher
- I am a babysitter since 5 years and I grew up with a lot of cousins
- I worked in several restaurants in the kitchen and as a waitress, I have always worked during the vacations and alongside my studies
- I am very ambitious, reliable and diligent
- I love gardening and I helped my mum since I am a little child around the house
- I love cooking and baking
- I am extroverted and its's easy for me to talk to people and make friends with anybody
- I can play 3 instruments (piano, ukulele, saxophone)
