Hi!
I have been travelling all around Italy for 6 months, trying to learn the language and eating toooo much pasta!

I was born in New Zealand but my father was Swedish.

I love to cook which I probably inherited from him because he was a chef and had his own restaurant. He made me try snails and frogs legs when I was 6 and I loved them!

I like reading and listening to podcasts about crime and also watching foreign language films. I enjoy all kinds of music (but not country) and like to dance.

I love road trips with friends. I'm interested in interior design and photography which I think I got from my mum. Although most of my photographs seem to be of the sky. Stormy clouds and beautiful sunsets. Mum taught me that just when think you are taking the perfect photo turn around because it might be behind you.

I've started learning Chess and I enjoy playing cards and board games.

I love dogs. I grew up with an Alsatian (German Shepherd) and Husky when I was a child and my husband and I had a Labrador for 12 years.

I spent 18 years working in the Film and Television industry which I loved but I felt like I needed a change.

Now I am a Youth Worker with children that live with Foster families as well as a Court ordered Supervisor for children that can't live with one or both parents. I really like my jobs because I feel that I can support both parents and children in complicated and challenging situations while keeping the child safe and secure in a calm environment and putting their needs first.

In my free time I like to ride my mountain bike (although haven't since so much walking in Europe). I enjoy travelling and talking to people with different life experiences to me.

I love languages and I am trying to learn Italian.

I decided that I wanted to travel more now. So here I am in Europe! So far I've been here for 6 months.

I have just spent 3 months in Sardinia being a companion to an elderly man.
