I am a confident, outgoing and loving person; with a sense for adventure and fun. I enjoy trying new things and putting myself out of my comfort zone, as I feel like this is where you learn most about yourself. I love being in nature and through my travels have been able to conclude that this is where I am happiest - up a mountain, swimming in a lake, exploring the coast or the jungle, however it may occur.

I have participated in 2 workaway experiences and also participated in volunteer projects on my travels and prior whilst in England. I feel it is important to contribute to the world and I gain a sense of accomplishment being able to give my help/support to those who may need it. I am a qualified Teacher of Physical Education and Geography and love working with children and teaching, I would love to be able to explore this more through volunteer opportunities.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have a wide range of abilities and have a vast CV. I can put my hand to anything, with a can do attitude and I love learning new skills. I am physically capable and won't shy away from hard work or manual labour. Below I have outlined 3 main areas of expertise, however, I absolutely have more and am happy to answer any questions relating to these.

Children & Education
As a qualified teacher, I have been in and around education my whole life. My experience teaching ranges from 3 years old to 18 years old - and despite having taught across a range of subjects, I definitely have a passion for Physical Education and Sport in particular. Throughout my life and career I have pushed myself to try new situations, whether this be Summer Camps in America, International Summer Schools in London or Starting my own Netball Club. I love my job and everything it entails, helping just one child is a success in my eyes and therefore, being able to impact multiple day in and day out is a real privilege. My experience working with and around Children is vast - so please ask me questions as I'm happy to provide more information.

Hospitality
I have worked many hospitality jobs over a number of years. These include (but aren't limited to): Waitressing, pot washing, serving, cleaning, handling money, working as a cashier and working in a store. I believe it is right to always provide the best service with a smile, thinking one step ahead of the needs of the customer and ensuring an excellent service.


Marketing & admin
I have lots of experience working across different organisations managing social media accounts. It has been important to highlight the successes of these organisations and also use social media as a tool to recruit more members/customers. A regular presence on social media and good quality content can really help build a brand. I have admin and office experience; I am competent in computer/technology use and I work efficiently, always prioritising tasks and completing these to the highest standard.

My other interests and skills include travelling; I love learning about and experiencing new places. I also enjoy getting out into the open and exploring places in England. I recently completed the Salkantay Trek in Cusco and have loved hiking all over South America as well as back home in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. I have a love of baking and cooking and have engaged with these from a young age having been taught by my mum and grandma.

I love board games, card games, puzzles, films and have recently rediscovered my love for reading too. Usually at home I spend my time playing, coaching or umpiring for Netball. Sport is a big part of my life and I love being part of a team!
