Hi! My name is Elsie and I am from the state of Kentucky in the US. I’m a visual artist/ painter and currently on a gap year before going to college at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn NY for architecture. I’m spending my gap year experiencing the world and expanding my view with new cultures. So far I’ve spent 3 months in Nepal with host families and hiking the Himalayas. My hobbies include snowboarding, ping pong, cooking, and sewing.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I learned strong adaptability in Nepal, staying with a family in a rural village on a small farm for a few weeks and camping for 2 weeks all the way through Manaslu Circuit in below freezing climate. I’m a hard worker and maintained a 4.0 unweighted GPA throughout my high school career and received an AP score of 5 in two arts classes. I love challenging myself and learning in new types of work environments. I have experience in child care, pet care, house cleaning, arts/ gallery management, and other odd jobs.
