I’ve had the chance to volunteer on a smaller scale before, and it taught me the joy of contributing to something meaningful while learning from others. What truly motivates me is the opportunity to be part of a team, adapt to new environments, and make a difference, no matter how small.

We’re both passionate about languages because they open up opportunities to connect with people, understand different cultures, and build meaningful relationships. Rebecca’s experience as a Danish tutor for children and her fluency in French, Danish, English, and a little bit of Spanish have shown her how rewarding it is to help others learn and grow through language. Clara's background in those same languages has given her an appreciation for how languages can bridge gaps and bring people together. Teaching or learning a language isn’t just about words; it’s about sharing experiences, fostering communication, and building confidence. We’re excited by the idea of teaching languages to help others develop new skills, and we’re equally eager to improve our own language abilities, especially through real-world conversations. For us, language is a powerful tool for connection and mutual growth, and we would love to explore this even further through volunteering.

Quais são suas habilidades?
We’re Clara and Rebecca, two 18-year olds with a similar international background, excited to bring our experiences and skills to volunteering. We met in middle school, and are both of Danish and French nationalities, while also both being fluent in Danish, French, English and a conversational Spanish.
Rebecca is currently a university student, studying economics. Through volunteering as a Danish tutor for children, working with Team Peru to raise funds for women, and being a UNICEF Young Ambassador, she’s developed strong communication and organizational skills. Her work as a babysitter and dental receptionist taught her patience, responsibility, and the ability to adapt to different environments. Additionally, she has been a volunteer at a kindergarten, where she learnt how to engage with children and work as a team with her fellow volunteers.
Clara is set to graduate high school this summer. As a sales assistant, she has developed strong communication and teamwork skills, while also demonstrating reliability in a fast-paced environment. Passionate about science, she has showcased her dedication and ambition by competing in national science competitions. Her previous experience as a babysitter has given her a deep understanding of childcare responsibilities, allowing her to be both nurturing and attentive.
These experiences have taught us the value of dedication, adaptability, and cultural understanding—qualities we believe are essential for successful volunteering. We’re eager to apply our skills and enthusiasm to make a positive impact!

We’re Clara and Rebecca—two 18-year old students with a lot of enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong sense of responsibility. We’re both international and share a love for traveling, discovering new cultures, and contributing to meaningful projects.
Rebecca is 18 and has been playing the violin since she was 4, performing in orchestras and musicals. She’s also an avid reader and was actively involved in her high school’s Model United Nations club, where she discovered a love for debating and problem-solving. She’s passionate about culture and always excited to share ideas or learn something new.
Clara is 18 (although she will be 19 this summer), and similarly has a background in music: she has played the piano for 6 years and has recently gotten into bass. She is an ex-scout, which has taught her resilience, survival skills and a love for nature, while also contributing to her passion for sewing. Clara is deeply interested in culture and enjoys finding ways to connect with people through shared experiences.
We like to think of ourselves as reliable, hardworking, and personable. We take every opportunity seriously but also approach everything with a positive attitude and enthusiasm. Whether it’s contributing ideas, solving problems, or working as a team, we’re always ready to give our best and make a meaningful contribution.
