Hey there!
I'm Atefe, originally from Iran, but I've been in Belgium for the past four years for studying my PhD and working as a researcher. I recently defended my PhD, and now I'm excited to take some time off to travel and expand my horizons by meeting new people and making a positive impact on their lives through Workaway experiences.
That's why I've enrolled as a Workaway!
Beyond my academic work, I'm a new learner of the Setar, a soft-sounding Persian musical instrument. I’m also obsessed with books, series, and movies—I’m very chatty and love discussing a wide range of topics. Plus, I’m a great cook, particularly when it comes to Persian dishes.

In addition to my interests and skills mentioned earlier, back in Iran, I enjoyed hiking, mountain climbing, canyoning, and biking. While I have less time for these activities now, I still cherish those days. I'm passionate about research and discussing various topics, and I find joy in reading books and watching movies and series. I also play Setar and music is a big part of my daily life.
