Hola!! I'm Alba. I'm 23 years old and I live in Vilanova i la Geltrú, a seaside town near Barcelona. I've just graduated in Social Work at the University of Barcelona, so a phase has ended and I'm excited to start new paths.

I’ve been learning French for more than a year now, and deepening my knowledge of the language is my main goal. At the end of 2025, I've been three months living in the French Pyreees as an au-pair. This first Workaway experience has made me want more.

In the next few months, I'd like to keep improving my French and I'm open to whatever opportunities may come.

I would like to work in a place that is aligned with concerns I have. I have a strong sensibility for environmental issues and social inequalities. It matters to me to meet people who are open-minded to discuss these topics.

I enjoy being in nature, dancing and spending time with people. I've a lot of energy and I want to put it into things that make sense to me.

I’d be glad to meet people and discuss what we can bring to each other.

I’ve worked with children, teenagers and people with intellectual disabilities, in schools and summer camps as a monitor. I have experience preparing and leading activities with social meaning. As I’ve worked in social contexts, I can easily connect with people and create bonds.

I’m a flexible and organized person who enjoys planning and managing projects, adapting to new situations and working as part of a team. I can help with practical tasks, teaching, organizing events or supporting community projects. I’m also a good listener and communicator, which helps me understand people’s needs and work collaboratively.
