Hello travelers and hosts

I was born in Albania and moved to New York in my early teens making this my permanent home for many years now. Being introduced to and having lived in NY for most of my life I have valued the diversity of the cultures/ people and the quality of education and opportunity. I have traveled and lived in other states in the US which only amplified this appreciation. I love traveling, exploring new cultures, meeting new people, creating long-lasting bonds, and learning about spiritual practices.

During the pandemic I had a major shift in my life, where after 20 years of being successful in the corporate world I was completely burned out. I am grateful to have worked in the fashion industry but also grateful for the window it opened up for me.
I decided to go on a soul journey, traveled solo and volunteered around the world for a year.

I started my journey in Tanzania volunteering for an organic coffee farm learning all the steps of making coffee from harvesting to completion of drinking it. I learned and loved a lot about this country which I left in tears. I then volunteered in Thailand in an animal welfare organization, through Workaway, in Koh Lanta called LAW, it was quite rewarding to see the difference love and care make for abused animals. Another very fulfilling volunteer position in Chiang Mai, Thailand, was to work in a self-sustaining farm where a pharmacist produced only healthy products to use on his land for personal hygiene and food. We planted trees, took care of the land, cooked together, shared meals and participated in outdoor activities.

I grew up eating mostly organic produce which was the only available food in Albania at the time, I ventured into other types but came back and am passionate about the sustainable and minimally processed food to eat. I have been in several retreats and their strictly vegetarian and/ or vegan menu has been great. Another part of my retreats I appreciate are the hiking/ walking or just sitting under the sun activities, meditation and yoga were amazing. Appreciating the present moment and the nature we are provided is paramount.


I am now exploring my deeper passions, mostly motivated by working for NGOs or Social Entrepreneur companies that help educate and build communities.
Currently I am committed to traveling and finding like-minded people while learning different cultures/ skills through local living/ contacts. Continuing my travels and loving every bit of it.
