I have always loved to learn new things, experience cultures, connect with people, and explore places. I really enjoy talking to people- everyone has something to share.

I am a small animal veterinarian, currently winding down my career, but am still very committed to animal issues, for both domestic and wild animals. In addition to dogs and cats, I have worked with farm animals, raptors, domestic pet birds, and small mammals. Ideally, I would like to blend a cultural and language exchange with work with animals or in conservation/ environmental issues. I'm also an aspiring bird watcher and bread baker!

I have medical skills as well as animal handling skills. I have also been a gardener for a long time, and can learn a variety of tasks around the house and farm.
