My name is Torri, I'm a volunteer firefighter in beautiful Big Sur california. Iv been living off gird for the past 5 years in sustainable living. Community is most important to me living in a rural area, couldn't do it without them! My past times is spending time with the family, music, hiking, and having community gatherings. I hope to do some traveling on the Hawaiian Islands, New Zealand and Australia for a fresh new perspective of inspiration.

(Help with organic garden and ...)
I stayed for a wonderful 5 weeks at Volkers place. originally planned on 4 weeks, but ended up staying alittle bit longer.
The accommodation was a cozy caravan.
Mainly work consists of light yard work that was fairly easy going. Also went down the road to harvest Cockles from the beach!

I had hundreds of woofer, helpx-er, and workaway-er and I can clearly say that Torri is one of the best! Torri stayed for about 5 weeks, quite a bit longer than we had originally planned. Torri stayed for two weeks and was lovely to have onboard and easy company, she never baulked at any task and done a fantastic job ( unsupervised ) reconditioning the green house and garden. also she was very easy to teach operating light machinery. an all round and willing worker I can recommend . Good luck :-)

My time there consist of chopping wood for heat, topping pine trees, working the excavator, garden maintenance, & basic house cleaning chores.
