Hello everyone!
I’m Tiphaine, a 23-year-old university student from France. I studied Japanese for three years at university and absolutely loved it! Although I’m now pursuing international law and couldn’t continue my Japanese courses, I miss it dearly and want to dive back into it.
Years ago, I visited Japan for only one week. This time, I’m eager to discover more of Japan, sharpen my Japanese skills, and meet amazing new people. In short, I’m on the lookout for an adventure that will be unforgettable!
A little bit about me: I might come off as shy at first, but I’m calm, adaptable, and always excited to learn and try new things. My experiences so far include working as a waitress in France, volunteering in Calais to distribute food and assist those in need, and completing an internship at a law firm.
This is my first time with Workaway, and my main goal is to find language partners to practice japanese. In return, I’m more than happy to teach French. I also speak English fluently but I’m not comfortable teaching it since I’m not a native and still make mistakes.

ティフェーヌと申します。フランス人の法学の大学生です。23歳です。三年間、大学で日本語を学んでいました。今、国際学の修士課程を始めたので、日本語を勉強しないで、寂しいです。
日本に行ったことがありますが、一週間でした。今回は日本で新しい人々を会ったり、日本の文化をもっと知ったり、日本語を話したりしたいです。
非熟練の仕事を手伝いて嬉しいです。
日本語は苦手ですし、敬語がまだよく分かりませんから、礼儀正しくないそうで、すみません。
Workawayのメンバーになる目的は日本語を話せるのです。よければ、フランス語を教えていいです。英語が話せますが、ネイティブスピーカーではありません。

I can practice french and english with you. However, I can't teach english, as I'm still learning myself. I studied japanese for 3 years at Inalco in Paris and I really miss those years! I would like to find language partners to practice with!

During my free time, I like reading, watching asian series, cooking, etc.
I also practice judo and take chinese lessons. Once a week, I volunteer at the Ligue des droits de l'Homme (human rights league) to inform foreigners of their rights concerning residence permits.
暇な時、私は本を読んだり、アジア来たシリーズを見たり、料理を作ったりします。柔道をして、中国語を勉強します。Ligue des droits de l'HommeというフランスのNGOを手伝っています。私は外国人に権利を知らせ、行政手続きの手助けをします。
