Hi! I'm Takuya, a 20-year-old from Japan. I am currently studying at Nanzan University in Nagoya, Japan for studying global liberal arts. I’m an open-minded, curious, and motivated individual who loves connecting with people from different cultures and learning about their way of life. I love to do new things that I have never experienced before. My hobby is cooking, travelling, eating, and playing sports, especially tennis and padel. I have played tennis over ten years. Regarding cooking, I have cooked may dishes, Japanese food, Italian food and so on. I usually work at Japanese "soba" restaurant as a part timer. Moreover, I am working at the hotel at the reception desk to learn hospitality. Concerning travelling, I have been these countries, Australia, South Korea, Taiwan, Switzerland, Germany and Liechtenstein before. Now, I am panning to study abroad from fall of 2026. I’m passionate about personal growth, and I believe that every experience is an opportunity to learn something new and meaningful.

Through Workaway, I’m looking forward to contributing to your project with enthusiasm and care while immersing myself in a unique cultural exchange. I value teamwork and am happy to lend a hand wherever it’s needed. I’m also excited to share stories, experiences, and maybe even cook or learn some local recipes together!

My mother tongue is Japanese. I have learned English for over nine years so I can speak English. Now I am learning Chinese as second major in University though I am still biginner. I also learn Korean to talk with my Korean friends. Thus, I can teach English and Japanese and few Chinese. Regardless of langueges, I have tremendiously huge motivation of learning and teach languages, atually they are my hobby.
