Hi!

I am from the North of England and lived in London for 25 years working as an actor in television, film and theatre.

I now live in Conil de la Frontera in Andalusia where I have lived for 4 years.
There I work as a yoga teacher and enjoy a slower paced way of life.
I moved here for the sunlight, sea, surf, nature and the wide open spaces.

I love being involved in my community in Conil.
I teach yoga at the local studio, language school and hotel.
I also run an initiative in a local bar. It’s called "Intercambio Social" where anyone is welcome to come and socialise and exchange language and get connected within the community every Wednesday evening.
I have also connected with people who love film and the arts and have continued with my love of acting and creating, making a short film, with another project in the pipeline.

I recently realised a dream of buying a camper van and I’m currently travelling through the North of Spain (with my partner joining me from time to time).

My favourite parts of the adventure so far have been staying on farms. This is where I have connected with people and enjoyed the daily interaction of the animals that live there as well as the wildlife. This is where I/we have felt the happiest!

Although I have loved travelling I am ready to land somewhere and connect with a community in someway. Although I like my own company to practice yoga, reflex and read I also love people and enjoy their company.

While I have been travelling I continue to teach yoga classes online to stay connected to my yoga community so they can continue to practise and I can continue to teaching which I enjoy so much!

I am English and learning Spanish. Ideally I would like to be in an environment where Spanish is the principle language of communication but I am happy to help with practicing English though I have no formal teacher training.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I trained as an actor for 3 years and spent the first few years touring the UK doing community theatre which involved putting set up and down and packing a van.
I have always enjoyed being physical and practical and wanting to learn how things work.

I also was a host on Air bnb for a few years which I enjoyed as I met people from all over the world and I liked to create a pleasant, calm space for them to stay during their trip to London.

As a family growing up we spent time together in the garden. Although I don’t have much experience or skill in this area it is something I enjoy.

My main skill these days is teaching yoga. This is what I do nearly everyday. I love helping and caring for people.

I also enjoy exchanging language. I speak Spanish but want to improve and I also enjoy helping people practice English
