Hi, I'm Patricia :)

I'm looking to travel differently over the next few months. I am interested in meeting new people along the way while bringing some help so it'll make my experience richer.

It'll be my first experience with workaday. I was a nanny for 8 months back in 2013 in Australia through the platform "aupair" and I loved it. It was one of the greatest experience I could have had.

I'm already really excited to create new memories and get to learn new things over the months to come.

I'm really interested in either learning or teaching a language. I can teach easily French and English. As for Spanish, I'm fluent but the last time I really spoke was in University back in 2017-2018. I studied a year abroad in Mexico and in Spain. I can still speak and understand but my brain isn't as quick as it used to be because of the lack of exposition to the language. I could teach the basics of the language I would say. I would like to learn Japanese and go to Japan for a while to practice it.

Quais são suas habilidades?

My experience is mainly with kids in terms of work.
As I mentioned, I was a nanny for 8 months and I just loved it.

I started as a babysitter when I was around 12 years old then I became a gymnastics coach when I turned 13. I did it for over 20 years. Over the past few years, I was coaching high level gymnasts.
I've been dancing since I was 3. Right now, I'm not coaching but giving dance classes for gymnasts and I'm also a choreographer.
I do enjoy everything that involves moving or being creative. I studied in dance and arts after high school. I'm looking to turn my drawing into stationery in the near future.

I studied in tourism in University so I do have some experience and knowledge in that field. My main interest is in event planning.

I'm the oldest of a family of 3 girls and I've always been the chosen one by my dad to help around the house.
I'm a quick learner and I love to help around.
I did a lot of harvesting of strawberries and raspberries when I was younger.
I can be an helper in a garden as I'm still helping my parents here and there.

I love cooking and trying new recipes.

Over the past year, I got the opportunity to teach English as a second language in high school. Our main language in Quebec is French. My students were in 3rd grade (14-15 yo). I really enjoyed the experience.

To complete my description, I would describe myself as an energetic and happy person.

I love to make people laugh and bring joy around me. I'm really close to my grandmas that have respectively 95 and 103 years old. I visit them often and I really like listening to them.

I'm an active person. I move everyday either for a walk, some bike or jogging. I swim at least once a week.
I do yoga and some conditioning. I also dance when I teach choreographies.
I like hiking and doing rock climbing once in a while. I would like to surf again while traveling because it's not possible where I live.

As for creative hobbies, I'm into acrylic and watercolor painting. I also do drawings on my iPad. I like cooking and baking and I really like flower arrangements.

My favorite place to go when I'm lost in a city is a library. I'm a huge fan of reading. I love to learn new things!

I've been traveling with my van "Blanche" for the past 3 summers here in Canada. I converted it with my dad in spring 2022. This summer is my fourth Vanlife season with her. Before that, I traveled to different countries by plane. I am passionate about travelling.
