Hi, my name is Amelie, I'm 22 years old and just finished my Bachelor's in Biochemstry.
I'm from Germany and I speak German and English fluently. I'm also learning Spanish and am eager to improve my language skills!

I've travelled with Workaway just after school and worked on a sheep farm in Iceland, an self-sufficient farm on a tiny island in Scotland and a language camp in Switzerland, among other things.
Now I'm exited to hit the road again and take new adventures before I start my Master's degree in Ecotoxicology.
I like to do sports (e.g. scuba diving, hiking, table tennis, running, skiing and yoga), to be creative (sewing, painting and photography) and to play the guitar.
I hope to learn new skills, experience new cultures and share my culture in return.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I did several years of tutoring during my school time (mainly maths, physics and English) and really enjoy to teach. I'm good with older kids and help them with homework.

My grandfather has a farm and I also volunteered at farms in Austria and Italy during my gap year so I got some experience with farm-related tasks. I helped during lambing season on a farm in Iceland and learned how to assist sheep giving birth, give medicine, feed them and more.
Gardening is something I enjoy too!

My father is a chef and taught me how to be usefull in the kitchen. I love baking bread and trying out new recipes!

I did an apprenticeship in a 4-star hotel in Germany, so I have some experience in hospitability and providing an attentive, high quality costumer service.

Being creative is a thing I like to do, whether it be writing, sewing, painting or photography. I take a good camera everywhere I go and can help with content-creation/promoting.
