We are Mattia and Rossana. This is our presentation.

Mattia: I specialized as a canine educator and instructor, but I also worked in shelters and sanctuaries for various animals, such as dogs, cats, horses, and birds.

I've been a vegetarian for seven years and a vegan for five, and I've been fighting animal testing for years. When I was little, I had my first volunteer experience with my mother in a sea turtle volunteer camp. Then, after several years, I realized that all I wanted was to help the animals. In recent years I have dedicated myself to helping animal shelters. My first experience was in Morocco, at the "Morocco Animal Aid" animal sanctuary. Back in Italy, I started helping the shelter for abandoned dogs "Onlus La Fattoria del Cane Ciuk". Last year I helped the Tunisian dog shelter "Association de Protection des Animaux de Tunis" ("PAT"). I speak English fluently, I love to travel and help animals. I would like to
Combining my passions with the experience of working in a Dutch shelter.

I am a photographer and videographer. For Free Animal Sanctuary Natalia's Arca, I helped create the "2025 calendar" to encourage donations and self-funding of the refuge's expenses.
During this time I met my girlfriend, a volunteer at this shelter.

Rossana: I have a master's degree in Philosophical Sciences with a thesis on "Animal Rights and Antispecism." I volunteered for several years at the Animal Sanctuary called "Natalia's Ark." I ran a group of nearly fifty animals of different species alone and as a team, and he loved every single individual. I have helped injured animals on the streets, including bees and insects, and have consistently helped animals get adoptions. I have been vegan for many years. My English is not very fluent, but I do it ideally to help animals and projects.

We have chosen to dedicate our lives to the defense and care of animals, we live with a 10-year-old dog, called Mia, who has always traveled and participated in experiences with other animals. She has always been with us during our adventures. We also live with an inseparable parrot named Oliver, whom we have slowly gotten used to making trips in a carrier so we can take him with us. Both were rescued when they were cubs.

We are two very empathetic and sensitive people, we met precisely because of our actions in Animal Defense. We are passionate because we both share a very strong passion for animals and for defending their rights. We love living surrounded by animals and we are joyful to be able to share our spaces with them.
We love writing and telling stories, we love teamwork, cooperation, exploring, learning, and helping.

We are passionate about animal welfare. We can teach Italian and curate music and painting workshops for children. Skilled in drawing, photography, video production and creative writing. We have traveled and worked in different fields, from animals, photography to social work.
