Hi! I'm Maika, an open-minded, easygoing, and reliable person who loves learning from new people and cultures. I'm originally from Japan, and I’m currently in the last year of my undergrads, looking to contribute to meaningful projects while experiencing authentic local life.

I have experience in hospitality, childcare and language teaching, and I’m always happy to lend a hand wherever it’s needed. Whether it’s helping with day-to-day tasks, creative projects, or manual work, I do my best with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

I truly enjoy cultural exchange, and I love connecting with others through shared stories and experiences. I’m respectful of other cultures and spaces, and I try to leave every place a little better than I found it.

Language & Cultural Exchange:
I speak Japanese, English, and French, and I’ve helped others learn Japanese through conversation, tutoring, or informal language exchange. I enjoy sharing my culture and learning about others in return.

Childcare & Youth Support:
I’ve spent time caring for children of different ages, both in casual settings and more structured environments. I’m patient, playful, and responsible.

Cleaning & General House Help:
I’m tidy and detail-oriented. I don’t mind cleaning, doing laundry, organizing, or helping with everyday chores around the house or accommodation.
