Hej,
I’m Lisa, a Scandinavia enthusiast from Germany who’s currently calling Sweden home. My adventure began in Iceland, where I fell head over heels for the wild beauty of the landscapes. I’ve already ticked off Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Iceland from my travel list, but now the Faroe Islands are finally within reach—one of my dream destinations that’s hopefully about to come true!

By profession, I’m a certified social worker, and I love working with children. Previously I worked as a Teacher at an Intetnational School, as a Youth Social Worker and as a Nanny. I am comfortable with children of all ages and know how to look after them.

Growing up surrounded by dogs, sheep, and chickens, I’ve always had a deep love for animals. I learned how to ride on Icelandic horses as a kid and still love to do horseriding today !

I spent many years growing my own self-sufficient garden, growing everything from vegetables to fruits. When I’m not in the garden, you’ll find me doing new DIY projects or crafting. I also love to cook and bake; especially German sourdough bread :)

I am a very creative person and love to try new things. I do Aquarell painting and recently bought an old camera that I'm learning to take pictures with. I also collect Lopapeysas and am teaching myself to knit in the hope of one day being able to knit one myself.

I’ve got a driver’s license, and I speak German, English, Swedish, and French. I love to learn new languages and want to learn even more Scandinavian languages.
