Hello there! I’m a 35 year old single female who loves life and is looking for new adventures, experiences, and skills! I had plans to travel abroad and potentially utilize this sight for traveling around the world and gaining new friends and perspective, but due to COVID I had to postpone my plans. I’m now hoping to start making plans to get back out there and see some of the many places I have yet to visit! I’m interested in healthy eating, farming, learning more about off-grid living, caring for land and animals, new languages, nature, hiking and exploring, sports, music, cooking, and more! I was an elementary teacher for seven years, then I was a full time nanny for a couple years, so I have lots of experience working with children too!
I took a bit of time off full time work for some of 2020-2021, and a few summers ago I helped a friend manage her roughly one acre vegetable and flower garden, so I had a great time and learned a lot about gardening and farm life and homesteading. Such a great learning experience! I most recently was a restaurant manager for two and a half years. The last fall I took three months and travelled Europe and had some amazing and breathtaking adventures in Germany, Greece, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy! I’m now going back to school for nursing… But travel and new experiences and expanding my perspective through meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, trying new foods and learning new things will always stay high on my favorite list!

Quais são suas habilidades?
I grew up in a large family as the third oldest of nine children. That gave me my introduction into caring for children, babies, cooking, cleaning etc. For several years growing up we had large gardens so I have a basic knowledge and rudimentary skills in gardening. My parents owned several rental houses, so I have some basic knowledge and experience in renovating, painting, and general house maintenance and repairs. I attended a private college and graduated with a degree in music and home economics. I taught in an elementary school for seven years and volunteered in many ministries and aspects of the church and school there. (Teaching kids, helping plan and run banquets and conferences, working in the music ministry, cooking and organizing for events.) I sing and play the piano decently, as well as dabble in a few other instruments. (violin, clarinet, trumpet, handbells, very beginner guitar)
In addition to teaching and nannying, I have also worked as an office receptionist for a few years for a building company, so I have a small amount of experience in sales and administration.
I greatly enjoyed my cooking classes in college, and love cooking for myself or for a large crowd and planning and coordinating events.
