Hello! My name is Kenzie and I am an extremely bubbly and warm soul. I love meeting new people and sharing experiences and stories with others and learning from those I meet along the way. I absolutely love to learn about other cultures and connect with people around the world. I am very open minded and creative- I just graduated university with a degree in theatre and journalism! Now that I am finished with schooling I’m so excited to be able to explore the world and adventure! Last year I got to study abroad in Italy. I saved up and worked 3 jobs before I left my hometown in Minnesota and was able to travel to 13 countries during my time in Europe. I found so much joy and love for the world and all it has to offer. I did one WOOF experience there, I absolutely loved the work and cultural experience and knew that I wanted to have an opportunity like that again and share time and life with others in a mutually beneficial and supportive way. I thrive both solo and with others- I’m always happy to chat and spend time with others if they want and I don’t mind being alone and independent at all. I can read a room quite well and adapt to whatever environment I’m in. I love singing, dancing, learning instruments, poetry, biking, backpacking, swimming, and basically anything to do with exploring the outdoors! I’m currently working as a trip director in Minnesota leading rock climbing, canoeing, and hiking trips for kids around Minnesota! I absolutely love it! In October I am moving to New Zealand for ~a year. I already have my working holiday visa and I’d love to make use of it and have new beautiful experiences and learn about the people and nature of New Zealand through work exchanges!

I would absolutely love to practice Spanish or Italian and have more immersion in these beautiful languages! I’d also love to help teach English to anyone wanting to learn, I am very patient and understanding so I am more than happy to repeat words and listen to people again and again until they understand.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have worked as a backpacking leader at summer camps for the past 3 summers. I worked with kids ages 6-18! I love working with kids and entertaining them. I am lifeguard and CPR certified. I absolutely love working outside - hence backpacking trips- I am happy to do anything and everything outside, I’d love to learn to garden. I have done some house painting last summer when I did a WOOF in Italy which I loved. I love working with animals- I volunteered to take care of the snakes and reptiles at my university and I love taking care of and playing with pets and farm animals!
I have worked for a live events company to set up and take down audio and video equipment. From this job I am use to lifting lots of heavy equipment and organizing/setting up things properly based on instructions!
I will thrive with almost any kind of work, I am a very helpful person and extremely outgoing. I will always ask if there is anything else I can do to help and ensure that you feel supported! I am always happy to have random jobs even if I have no prior experience I am more than happy to learn new skills!
