Hello,
My name is Kata, I'm a 23 year old girl from Hungary. During my studies I have lived half a year in Sardinia and that is where it became absolutely clear that being surrounded by nature and the sea brings be so much peace and joy. I have always loved travelling but Workaway would be a perfect opportunity to discover a new place while getting to know local people and other Workawayers from all over the world.
Being in a community filled with open-hearted and open-minded people is what motivates me in my home country as well. I think helping each other out, being kind and learning about new cultures and world-views is the best way to connect, network and build relationships.

Quais são suas habilidades?
My studies are more office- job related, but I work as a babysitter as well since I was 18 years old. I'm good with kids and I love spending time with them.
I have worked with international university students before in the ESN program, so I have experience in organising programs and having conversations in a different language. I like cooking and painting as well as being outdoors. I'm not the kind of person to say no to building something in the garden, lighting a fire or managing the vegetable patch.

She helped to clear away all the old leaves left from last year, helped to carry firewood and hay and get pine branches for the sheep. Kata painted a big part of the new sheep shelter.
