I’m currently staying in Dublin, Ireland. I just finished by bachelors thesis and now I’m Styling in Ireland for about 2,5 moths during the semester break before starting my masters.

Hi!

My name is Jule, I’m 23 years old and from Germany. I study Sports Science and English in Switzerland while still living in Germany. I live near the tri-boarder area between Germany, Switzerland and France, which means I’m quite used to balancing different places.

I would describe myself as an open-minded and open-hearted person. I genuinely enjoy getting to know people from different backgrounds, hearing their stories and learning from them. I love spending time with people who enjoy laughing, joking around and don’t take life too seriously. At the same time, I care deeply about the people around me. My friends would probably describe me as loyal, empathetic and someone who is always there to listen, offer support or simply make them smile when they’re having a difficult day.

Being active has always been a huge part of my life. I love almost every kind of sport; hiking, snowboarding, volleyball, climbing, cycling, running and going to the gym are just a few of my favourites. I also enjoy trying completely new things, whether that’s learning a new sport or discovering a creative hobby. Curiosity is definitely one of the things that drives me.

Through my studies and different jobs, I’ve gained experience working with people of all ages. I’ve worked in a school, as a sports coach, and in rehabilitation fitness, helping people stay active and achieve their individual goals. These experiences have taught me to be patient, responsible and encouraging, and they’ve shown me how much I enjoy working together with others, especially children.

Outside of sports, I love cooking (especially vegetarian meals), painting, playing board games, listening to music and spending time with my friends and family. I also love animals. I used to have a cat called Robin, and nowadays I regularly look after two wonderful dogs that I absolutely adore. Spending time in nature, whether it’s by the sea, in the mountains or simply somewhere quiet, is where I also gain lot’s of energy.

Travelling is another passion of mine, and I’m incredibly grateful to be in a position where I’m able to experience different parts of the world. What I enjoy most isn’t collecting destinations, but meeting people, experiencing everyday life in new places and learning about different cultures. I much prefer simple, authentic experiences over luxury holidays, which is why I think workaway is a really cool concept.

I’m excited to meet new people, lend a hand wherever I can, learn new skills and hopefully create some unforgettable memories together.

Yes, definitely both! I’d love to improve my language skills by really using them in daily life. At the same time, I’d be happy to help you or your kids with German or English, of course only if you want to and if I can actually be helpful :) Since I’m planning to do a teaching diploma in the future, it would be really nice to gain more experience in that area.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have a background in sports science and English, and I’ve already gained practical experience in fitness, sports therapy, and teaching. I really enjoy working with people, especially motivating them, supporting them, or just being active together. I have also worked at the reception multiple times. Through my experience with children’s sports and my school internship, I’ve learned how to guide groups, plan activities, and be patient and empathetic. I am strong and can also do physical work and would be greatful to learn something new and improve the the lists of skills here. All and all I would say I’m reliable, organised, and adaptable, and I enjoy both teamwork and working independently.

I’m used to working with children and groups, and I really enjoy being active and spending time outdoors. I’m quite easy-going, open to new situations, and I adapt quickly. I enjoy being social and spending time together, but I also feel comfortable doing things on my own.

I have a driving licence as well as a motorcycle and motorboat licence. In my free time, I love playing board and card games like Tabu, Wizard, Activity, Uno, and many others, it’s always a fun way to spend time together.

I’d also love to improve my surfing skills, so if there’s any chance to learn or practice, I’d be very excited about that!
