We're hoping to join projects that focus on harmonious living with community and the earth, learning and sharing skills along the way.

Our skills include:
Sammy - carpentry and building, animal care, musician (guitar, drums, singing).
Jas - farming/ gardening (permaculture principles), teaching yoga and meditation, singing, animal care, love of learning new skills, facilitating a group process called 'The Work That Reconnects', to help people navigate difficult times and come to a place of 'active hope'.

We're both relaxed, friendly, active, enthusiastic, tidy people. We like to socialise and connect with new people, but also appreciate our own space and quiet time. We love animals and spending time in wild places, and in our free time we like to surf, swim, go to cultural events, make music, walk, do yoga and spend time connecting with loved ones.

- Sammy has building and maintenance skills and enjoys physical work.
- Sammy has many years of experience working with children in mainstream and special-needs schools.
- Jas has 2 years of farming and gardening experience.
- Jas is a 500hr qualified yoga teacher.
- Jas has lots of experience designing and delivering workshops and courses.
- Jas has worked as an environmental campaigner with good understanding of climate/environmental issues.
- Both of us are musicians: singing, drumming, guitar.

Sam and Jas are perfect volunteers. They are experienced travellers and eased very quickly into our environment. They contributed nicely in all the different farm work and was good company in all ways. A special thanks for helping us with text for our website. Working at the project has been one of our favourite workaway experiences so far! Sam gave us lots of info about the project & transport advice before we arrived. Sam & Toi are sociable and generous and there is a friendly, relaxed vibe with guests.

Jas stayed with me around 10 days and she was so helpful with many things. She was brilliant with the animals and in particular a street dog that I was in the process of rescuing. Her arrival here was perfect timing! It was good to see some parts of the garden looking a little tidier too. Thanks for your help Jas, especially with Mr Scruff!
