My name is Jan and I am 20 years old. I come from Germany and would now like to travel through Canada for 1 year after graduating from high school. I am very fascinated by the wonderful landscape and the unique nature. I am reliable, hardworking and open to all kinds of jobs. In addition, I am very fond of animals and love to spend a lot of time with my dog.

In Germany, in addition to school, I am already self-employed with a business as a window cleaner, but I have also worked in catering or as a tennis coach. I have also been driving since my 3rd. Year of life ski and have completed a ski instructor's license in Austria. In addition, I have a chainsaw driver's license, a boat driver's license and of course a driver's license for the car as well as a trailer.

In my free time, I play soccer passionately, have training 3 times a week, as well as a game every weekend. I also like to play tennis and also give lessons there. On the weekend I meet with my friends to have fun together.

I was here for a month and really enjoyed my time there. I had my own little apartment and felt like I was part of the family. Whether badminton with the kids or running with Rob, it was just great. The work was super fair and on days off we very often did something together. I can only say thank you for this great time.

He impressed us right away with his agility on ladders—cleaning out our gutters, washing our windows (and even teaching us his technique!), and painting the trim of our house with care and precision. Taking her on walks through town to the off leash dog park and made sure she was fed, watered and brushed. He was responsible and we could always trust him with that and with our 2 year old too! I lived on the boat for 1.5 months and it was exactly as I imagined it.
You live in the middle of the village center, which means that everything you need can be reached on foot. But the highlight is of course the ocean on the doorstep.

I spent a total of 3 months at Husky Farm and it was exactly as I had imagined! Lots of dogs, lots of work and the unique experience of standing behind the dogs on a sled.
