We are in our 50's, couple of entrepreneurs, who moved from town to countryside. We spent most of our time at our old house in orchard or in reconstructed tavern in the charming landscape of hamlets situated at the frontier between Slovakia and Morava. It is picturesque and replenished with fine views. The Nature Reserve of Veľká Javorina protects the original woods on the flanks of the tallest mountain of this mountain range. We love to have friends around.
Welcome to our project, we have reconstructed an old tavern and opening a bistro and accommodation for visitors of this beautiful piece of Slovakia. During this part of year, we've opened a restaurant and accommodation and start to pick up fruits.
We are run workshops and cultural activities. You can be a part of it.
We grow a traditional fruit orchard. We planted over fruit 80 trees and bushes. We have sheep in the orchard. We often organise activities with volunteers there. If you are ready to participate at the hard work in the country, be our guest.
We will share with you our interest in arts, nature, music & good food.

This is one of unique places in Slovakia, where for centuries man cooperated with nature and a cultural country has been established. After violent collectivisation the tradition has been interrupted. Our goal is to establish it again. We are not professionals in farm work or reconstruction, but even small number of people with good will can achieve big goals.
Come and watch the many stars in the sky.
Explore beautiful countryside. It's a good opportunity for bicycle riders or hikers. Many interesting agricultural and art project arise here. We will be happy to show you around.

This winter we work at the construction site. If you like work hard, please come and help us.
What we are planning to do:
1) Helping in the garden and orchard.
2) Learning some old construction techniques, as the old part of the house is from mud bricks
3) Help in the house with cooking and cleaning.

In our old family house is a bedroom with two double beds and other bedroom with single bed. We have one bathroom and one kitchen. If it's cold you have to put on fire in the furnace.
There is a bus connection to the village, last 1500 metres you have to walk, or we can pick you up. We can provide a bicycle for you to ride it around. If you like to take pictures of nature or wild animals, or wild orchids, this place is definitely for you. You will be surrounded by intimacy of the hills. In case you need company 45 minutes from us Holubyho chata is a very popular touristic chalet with wifi. Or the Wild West is in Saloon Cetuna also a popular restaurant with wifi.
