HELLO ! BONJOUR !

About us:
We are a Franco-English couple who met thanks to WorkAway and now our project is to continue to travel around Europe, learn more about life and about ourselves through different experiences !

We're ANIMAL LOVERS !

We met at an animal sanctuary in Ireland.
This sanctuary allowed gave us the great privilege of caring for many animals especially pigs but also horses, donkeys, sheep, goats and chickens. As well as falling in love with the responsibility we had for these animals, we also discovered a new passion for travelling and experiencing the cultures of other people in an atmosphere that was not present in our everyday lives. We take great pride in the way in which we met and are very much looking forward to discovering more elsewhere.

I have lived almost my whole life somewhat quietly on a small island just off the coast of the south of England.

Majoring in commercial music throughout covid, I graduated a bachelors degree with the majority of the work done in my bedroom.
I love to read and write music, I love to run and swim.

At this stage of my life I wish to travel and broaden my horizons through experiencing the life and culture of people who are different to myself.

I am a gentle and kind-natured man who is very openminded. I would be very grateful and respectful to anybody that might welcome me into their life :)


Learn more about Lucille :
I grew up in a small town in the south of France near the sea.

I obtained a degree in psychology but my new project is to develop skills and experiences in cooking. I'm really passionate about food, nutrition and cooking. I'm a vegetarian and mostly cook plant based.

Being in my twenties I'm craving to see the world and want to learn as much things as possible by stepping out of my confort zone and going trought new experiences and meeting new peoples.

I love to laugh, I'm very easy going and do not need a lot to be satisfied and content.
I'm a deep lover of nature and animals. I always feel the most at peace when I'm walking in the forest surrounded by trees and birds.

Lucille speaks both French and English fluently and is also up to a decent standard in Spanish and has taken an interest in learning Italian as well. Isaac is fluent in English and in the early stages of learning French.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Isaac skills:
I have had my fair share of manual labour experience from working in warehouses around England. As well as this, I have developed resistance to physically demanding routine from experiencing life working on a farm in Ireland.
I have also got approximately 6 years of experience in kitchens spread throughout various kitchen roles. This has greatly increased my attitude towards learning new skills and working in a team.

Growing up around animals, I'm happy to say that I feel that I have a very good attitude towards caring for and building trust with various different species.

Lucille skills:
I have experience in farm work, I worked in an agricultural property producing cherries, peaches, apricots, and olives as my summer jobs for many years. It allowed me to learn many skills. It was mainly sorting and picking fruits, cleaning and organizing the warehouse. I'm comfortable with working outdoors and I'm physically and mentally resistant. While working there I learned how te be efficient, organized as well as being mindful and involved in the work that I do.

I also have some knowledge and experiences on how to take care of elderly people. My mother has been a foster family for elderly and disabled persons since I was 6 years old. Growing up I met a lot of different people with different illnesses and disabilities and I created strong bounds with my grandmas and grandpas . Since my young age I helped my mother a lot with taking cares of them. It allowed me to develop wisdom, as well as being an emphatic, respectful and caring person.

I was around horses since I was 6 yo, I took horse riding lessons and develop many skills and experiences around horses. I have quite a lot of knowledge about their behavior and I love to be around them.

Isaac is an avid fan of music and has spent a lot of his childhood and adolescent years playing and performing acoustic, folk and rock music.
Lucille loves to cook delicious plant based food, especially for friends and family.
We are pretty active, we like to go on hikes, walks, spend time in nature and we go on runs together.
