Hi!

My name is Iris, I am a 25 year old Dutchie who is open to experience different cultures and family life styles.

Workaway for me is for the experience. To see different ways of living, different ways of thinking. Share, listen , observe (espcially for me, quite and observant person) and learn, are my main themes for workaway :).

I absolutely adore children and have been a baby sitter for seven families over the past decade (hahah small town perks.. :) ). I am also very friendly with animals and have taken care of different animals (dogs, cats) during my friends' holidays. I also like to help with the basics like cooking and cleaning.

Allthough I loved watching after the houses and pets of my friends, right now it is my time to venture out. I can't wait, so excited!
Maybe we will see each other soon.

I recently had a good workaway experience in a rural area in Katherine. I did a bit of gardening in the shed and rly liked it. Would love to know more about gardening and self sufficient lifestyle, so that is what Im looking for atm. :)

Quais são suas habilidades?

I love children and taking care of them, I have done so for seven families over the past decade (small town perks, hahah :) ).

I am also good with animals, I took care of a dog recently and two cats during my friends' holiday. I love dogs especially.😍

As I have been living on my own for two years now so I am familiar with normal house tasks like cleaning, cooking.

I also love the outdoors. Being out in nature makes me happy. In Australia last year (july) I worked in a shed and among the banana trees for a week, I would love to have more experiences like that!

I also au-paired (is that a word lol) 3 weeks in Darwin. It was good, my au-pair dream came true.

Random facts:
- I love gymnastics! I have been a gymnast since I was only nine years old... So that will be around 15 years now :O . I have been a gymnastics coach for over 10 years as well.
- Needless to say, I love to travel! I travelled the east coast of Australia for five weeks in 2022. In 2023 I have been to portugal and this year I travelled with my friend through Italy and Switserland.

Well.. Gotta go now, Australia is calling ;-).
